I am trying to take off the back half of the housing (air guide) on my 1000. All the bolts are out but it just doesn't want to budge and I'm a little scared to use too much force.

No more bolts that I can see. On my Grizzlies, I take out the bolts and the thing pretty much falls off on it's own. This Outty one is being extremely difficult.

Parts Diagram says 9 bolts and nothing more that holds it from the front...... but it does show seals around both shafts, maybe those seals are holding it in place?

That's all the bolts that hold it on. Is it possibly siliconed on back? Only seals back there are o-rings that press up against the case. She just needs a good yank

You know, I bet the dealership used some kind of sealant or adhesive after I had leakage issues for 2 seasons in a row. Lol, I might just wash it in place instead of breaking my impenetrable seal.

Good chance. I always siliconed mine when I'd have it off for that extra peace of mind
