Where does everyone buy their air filters from?

I got some water in the airbox on my wifes quad over the weekend (Polaris sportsman - 2017) ......filter got wet so we had to fry it all up and dry out the filter.

Wierd that my 2005 sportsman air box was perfectly dry and i probably hit the water holes harder than she did.

Thinking about buying 4 filters since both quads need one, to have an extra one to replace on the trail when/if they get wet.

Does anyone use the k&n ones?

And for keeping the airbox dry.....anyone have this issue? Wondering how to seal the airbox better to keep water out.

Any suggestions?

stay away from the k and n filters for your ATV's to seal them better get a new rubber gasket before you put it in coat the gasket with grease and always regrease the gasket when you open it up to make your filters last longer buy a k and n pre filter or the outside of the filter take it off wash it and vacuum out the filter

If they are available for your machine go with a oiled foam filter. The oil helps stop the water from penetrating the filter.. I use notoil and have gotten water in my airbox but the filter stayed dry.

To make sure mine ranger seals (they are known for leaking air box) I put a light coat of grease on the lid, the black rtv sealant on the gasket. That way it’s sealed and it doesn’t stick that hard.

Just remember that sealing the lid isn't going to keep the filter dry if you are going too deep for the air inlet. Snorkels are the answer in that case.
