Was outwest this weekend and stumbled across all the single track downhill on west side of baseline tower, which was awesome in itself.
But also came across the extensive trials single track on the east side down to the lineheaters and powerlines, does anyone have a contact as to who is doing all the work, the trails were excellent and a real challenge with the residual snow.

Are you talking about the named mountain bike trails like (bearded lady) etc? It's The Baseline DH mountain bike club out of Rocky Mountain House that maintain those.

Somebody is also doing similar on east side but appears to be powered trials or MX bikes as they go uphill too?

I believe those trails were cut by the Rocky Dirt Bike Club. I'm pretty sure you were on the Gloomy Creek race loop.

Keep heading South on 752 until after you hit gravel. There will be a hill on your left with a parking lot on it. This is the bottom of the road into the fire-watch tower. Be careful, I think cops have been ticketing people for using the road, but I'm not 100% sure. We saw cops ticketing people there but they may have been caught using the gated forestry road on the other side of 752 to get to the Ram lookout and Falls Creek. From there, if you can also head back South and will see another gate on the same (East) side of the road. This is the way into where the old fire-watch tower was before it burned down.

Sounds like the gloomy race loops by the rocky motorcycle club, although there is a fair group of trials riders active in the area that have cleared stuff.

This summer we found a real nice camp spot south of the lookout and rode all around the area on sxs's but I hadnt see any single track other then the mtb club trails. we dropped down east/ south of the fire lookout towards the trappers cabin.... wow was that a hill! i think we nearly slid from the top to the bottom and its a long long stretch!

The fire lookout man seemed a little bushed! apparently its his first year he got internet out there - been there 15 years now? :yikes:
