Basically south of Outwest Campground. Hit lunch area from jamboree. Find trail heading south. If you have a gps it shows Swan lake. Trail is not bad at all.

As dooing said be careful as some areas around swan are a Provincial Park and you will pay fines..

You can ride up to the lake from the south and southeast side but north northwest is provincial park, if you want to park at provincial boundary sign it's a easy walk in,the small dock was just past the guy brushing his teeth in the back of his truck....

There must be a couple of swan lakes in this province. Google says it's south of Crooked Creek.

Swan Lake is easy to find from the pipeline that runs to Ram gasplant, From Southfork head S.W. on the pipeline, when you get to the valley with the overhead powerline head south on the trail.

The Stelfork Family ranch has built fences in the area so it may be blocked off in some places.

the cross fencing on the power line and other area's isn't the Stelfox's........ Mr Stelfox only blocked off SouthFork Road and the trail that ran on the southern edge of his property. The rest was done by a different family that has the grazing leases for all of that land. They are tired of the irresponsible campers and quadders leaving gates open, leaving trash around, dumping their tanks etc. They also had one of their cow shot this year, they've had enough of it, and truthfully I cannot blame them.

Yes I have the family name, and no I'm not going to post it.
