Just looking for cool ideas for cleaning rad while on the trail? 12v pumps or water guns? Etc!!!
thats what i use is a water bottle since i always have water on the machine..a quick idea I have used when in a bind on a trail is take a plastic water bottle, preferably 1 liter or more, fill it with water, put a small hole in the cap, point and squeeze. Puts out a pretty good force.
It works really well is you have one of those pop up spouts, I am now in the habit of carrying one in my parts kit, you can use any kind of water bottle with them.
Check with Rapid Revolutions. The most effective thing I've seen trail side is like a giant syringe and believe it was called a Rad Blaster. That was the only thing I saw that had enough pressure to actually clean the rad out rather than just wash off a bit of surface mud.
If this is a regular issue for you, just do a rad relocate and you will never be "that guy" again. In my opinion, it should be law to have a relocate before buying mud tires. lol
That reminded me the name of ours. The Aqua Zooka is the ones we have.the "rad blasters" they sell are also available at Costco in a 2 pack for about 1/4 the price. aka "bazooka tubes"
