My wifes 2012 550 TRV GT started giving us issues on our last ride in Cadomin. The EFI started to flash. Found a loose connector at the MAP sensor. Played with it a bit and was able to get it to run (EFI was still flashing) so we could finish our trip after we got flooded out (different story).
Anyway, I took the front plastics off for easy throttle body access and to check the other systems.
2 questions:
First, will mixing the new OEM sensor with the aftermarket plug be okay? Arctic Cat does not seem to have an OEM repair connector kit.
Second, any thoughts on the cheapest place to order the sensor?

Turns out the MAP had no O-ring and was fouled with dust. I had it and the TPS sensors replaced at the dealer a couple years ago. Not happy with the dealer at all about that.
I will be ordering a new MAP sensor, o-ring, and the connector repair kit (the seal inside the plug was damaged while fiddling with it onsite). Best price I have found was $140.00 for the sensor, $20 for the plug. The sensor is OEM, the plug is not.
