Be careful out there all, lots of enforcement in the popular riding areas as they will be handing out free tickets to those who choose to not follow the rules.

They will be targeting Garbage, proper camp fire containment, Roddy-ness, dogs off leash, stream crossing, no registration or insurance along with other safety violations of units with out head and tail lights, spark arresters,,, and 400 "possible" related things.

Keep a level head and let's do our part to promote our out-door activities the best we can.

All of us that visit this forum are awesome folks, respectful to those around us and those that are out there making sure our Province Crown Lands remain in tacked.

Drive safe and enjoy the Best Place on Earth for this long weekend and those that follow.

In the parks yes, not 87% sure, but if there are issues on Crown lands with other campers and dogs running around "could" cause issues with our folks that have pets and kids running around.

One would think that they most likely wouldn't be hankering down on this, but one never knows.

There will be no shortage of tickets to go around I'm sure.

I'm still wondering what the other 388 possible charges might be. LOL.

We covered 400+ kms yesterday and seen 2 other camping groups, next to nill for people on Friday.

There might be more folks coming out today, blue skies as far as one can see.

Great Thread

Good advice.

I have been out since Sunday.
In a quiet spot. Group of 9 campers.

Quiet and no traffic around us.

Let’s hope all outdoor users use respect.

I talked with Rocky Conservation Officer Eric this week.

They will be watching the popular areas.

We noticed the same thing, we went from Hinton through the Cardinal Divide all the way down to 40 then came back on 40. Hardly anyone compared to what we thought it would be like.

I know, I thought every camp spot from Nordegg to Cow Lake on the cut across road would be full,,, nothing.

Normally there are 3 to 7 rigs in all 700 pull-outs, a hand full is all I seen on the Main,,, and nothing on the Spur Rd's.

This is the least amount of Long Weekend folks I've ever seen, good on you folks for not coming out West to wreck it for the rest of us. Ha.

Maybe they are saving all those 400 tickets for Me.

Cant be anybody left in Alberta, they are all in BC. The amount of flipped mirrors, rolling coal and white oakleys is mind boggling. One hell of a job boycotting.

Yes, we seen 100's of rigs heading out on Friday, and the hwy was packed.

I don't have a clue where they ended up at, that's fore-sure.

It will be Intresting to watch the news on Tuesday to find out how many camping infractions were really broken over the May Long.

I heard rumours they are looking for for Red Neck Holangan's that use to ride Can-Hams,,, their slogan was "Pin It." LOL.

Some of the Narrly riders might have flags on thier units, it will make it easy to spot them. Ha.
