Where can i get quad keys cut at?

I asked Polaris and they said they do not do them there at the dealership and I went to Canadian Tire and they said no they don't do them. Any idea where I can get keys cut I'd like to get a duplicate key for each quad in case we ever lose one or something

did polaris have a blank key that would match? if so most lock and key places can cut u a new key, they may have a key blank also, but sometimes not. i try to stay away from newfie speed n shine! never had any luck

If you can buy blanks at the dealer Canadian Tire will cut them for free.

Thanks a lot guys. I ended up going to the Polaris dealer in St Albert and got the key cut and the rubber boots. It's just weird because the dealer I bought the one quad from told me that they don't cut keys and yet they were a Polaris dealer.

Doesn't exactly give you the warm & fuzzy feeling about the dealer you bought from does it?
Maybe you should email a link to this page to the general manager of the dealership, I doubt if he knows that the parts people are driving customers to the competition. I run an RV dealer and if our parts people did that they would be driving themselves to the unemployment office.

I have never seen a dealer have the machine to cut the key, they can get the blanks, Ni idea other than my experience

I had Honda quad keys cut at a dealer and they had a hand held tool that they clamped the key blank into and lined up each notch one at a time and squeezed the handle to cut the V notch, then flipped the key and repeated to do the other side. I bet they have it too and the employee was just too lazy to do it.

Have been to Honda dealer, Polaris dealer and Yamaha dealer here none would cut the key, U have good dealer that is for sure

i dont know of any dealers in my area that will cut a key. Its probably one of those things that they figure their are so many people out their that cut keys why spend the money on a machine.

I went to the dealer with my vin and they ordered keys. Not cheap, $14 for two keys.

Where can i get quad keys cut at?
