Looking for a good quality and affordable machete for clearing trail (Mostly willows, tree limbs, alders, etc.). My gerber was decent, but the blade would bend if not removed from a strike correctly or was cutting on an angle. Thanks

Motion industries( located in most larger towns and cities in alberta) , get yourself a (tramontina) sp? Brazilian machete, $15- $20. Use it correctly, u will not find much being better other than one made for a particular purpose.
mine came dull, needed some lovin with a file, some Clay tile sharpening and a bit of leather stropping! Will be dangerous if not used right, you can buy something that works or something that sells in the stores. usually a difference.

Fiskars makes a good one. Canuck tire sells them. Light, strong and hold its edge well.
