Yeh I am still on the fence between XMR or the Limited if buying new?
7k difference you get a lot more with Limited.
Have a deal made on a 2019 XMR with very low kms and a few extras coming up in January and if it happens I will go ahead with it due to price .
The 2021 limited is sure a nice machine but 32k then tires .

Now if they would put a partial door on that to protect you I would be sold on it. The mesh was a no for wife.

When we had our Can am that was the first thing we did was add doors.

Yeh they have all got it thought out to charge lots with all the things missing that consumers will want !
Then soak the heck out of you for all the doors , roof , windshields!!!

The 1/2 doors on the XMR are good quality
They sure do! I think back when I was looking the hard doors were $6000! I put the soft ones on for $900 and they worked ok last winter when I had tracks on

Yes the do soak the crap out of you, priced a yamaha viking tires, winch, roof clutch kit was 25k, but the kicker was 1800 for winch installed left without unit.

Can am accessories are definitely pricey, but they are also very good quality and well engineered.....I put the canam half doors and roof on my xmr defender....learned a few tricks on installing them so they don’t rattle....the instructions they have online are garbage so it’s kinda learn as you go...l

Agree to the quality. Can am or Yamaha at this time are in equal quality but Yamaha lacks new products. IMO

yamaha and Honda both have good quality units but neither are innovators by any means. I looked at the Honda pioneer as well but surprisingly the fit and finish on the defender was better and the Honda accessories are an embarrassment. Low quality and poorly engineered compared to the canam stuff.

Yeh Yamaha came out with the Rhino and was way ahead of its time and really the only one in the market .
Sold piles of them and still wanted by many due to bullet prof and narrow .
They just basically stalled out for many years and let Can am surpass .

I think they have a 1000 twin now. Just hope they don’t have that wet clutch, that was a weak spot on the rhino
