Fuel tank breather hose spitting out gas

On my 2014 Grizzly 700 my fuel tank breather hose is run up to my snorkels and I have fuel coming up the line and it has spit out fuel several times. Does it even with 3/4 tank. Anyone have this happen or any suggestions? Thanks

The fuel tank breather should be mounted high in the tank and should only get fuel in it if the tank is overfull, I would check the vent inlet in the tank to see if it has slipped down to liquid level rather than up at the top where there should only be vapor.
Sometimes if the fuel tank is very full and out in the sun the fuel will expand and fill the vent hose with liquid fuel, if your hose dips down then back up to the snorkel you may have fuel sitting in the low spot all the time and when the air in the tank expands from heat it is pushing that fuel up and out of the vent hose, check the routing of the vent hose so there is no low spots in the hose so any raw fuel can drain back down into the tank rather than sitting in a "puddle" at the low point of the hose.

I rerouted the vent line so it runs over top of my air box snorkel hose so it sits higher now. Hopefully that will do it. If not I'll have to look inside the tank. Thanks!

Yeah that's weird since the tank is really low already (under the seat)definitely getting suction issues....it should be run separate right to the end

It's a separate line to the snorkel. Put warrior risers on which have holes for vent lines and rerouted line so I'll see if it that solved the problem

Had the same problem on my 2005 Kodiak and was worse on hot days. goggle said it was from gas in the tank boiling so i cut some more breather holes around tank cowling to help tank cool off. I still get a small amount of boiling if the machine gets too hot.

This! Google it. It's a fairly common issue with Yamaha.
