Pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and upgraded the old Polaris to a brand spanky new Alterra.
Had a couple days to get the essentials installed prior to the initial week out at Cadomin. Now the fun part, getting all set up for hunting season.
On my Polaris I had a set of ATV Tek gun mounts. I really liked them, very versatile, adjustable and barely there when removed for fun rides. I found them at Cabelas (don't carry them anymore, online only), and are leaning towards getting a new set for the new machine, but before I do that, does anyone know of any other brands other than Kolpin and Moose? I'd like to see if there's anything else before I pull the trigger.

Not sure of the brand but mine mount above my head, two guns up and out of the way, standing back from the machine you can't tell they are there

The AC Speedrack has similar mounting style, toggle pegs or whatever you want to call them. The Alterra's are still pretty new, so it seems the aftermarket crowd hasn't caught up yet, very little for rack accessories.

there never really was anything after market for the speedrack system, however, in the Arctic Cat dealer catalog you can order just the speedrack mounts and attach them to anything you would like.

It looks like that's the way I'm going to go. I'll fab up my own low profile mounting rail and secure it with the Speedlocks. That should give me the flexibility and security I'm looking for. I found some after market knock offs of the Speedlocks at Rapid Revolutions. Going to take a closer look at them after work tonight and make sure they'll do what I want.
