Agreed! There is lots of good information available. Not always straightforward on how to get it.

I like the wildfires app and website. Very detailed.

How much is lots?

It is so dry, that the rainfall has to be in inches to be a good deterrent.

Drayton Valley,Alder Flats, Edson,parts of RMH, have had pretty decent amounts of rain and storms this year, on radar almost every storm forms in brazeau area and heads towards Edmonton, Christ we even had a tornado

North West is still good but calling for 30s for the next week. Definitely getting dry. Careful out there folks. It's different to ask for rain just to get the hay off the field

Another storm rolling through Brazeau county tonight and through most of tomorrow. Not gonna stop me and the boy from getting a good ride in and doing some more of the trail clean up we couldn't finish last time our. Hopefully the rest of the province starts getting its share of this rain and reduce all the fire risks! We had initially planned a trip to crowsnest pass for the first couple weeks of August but glad we didn't now.

My family has a cabin north West of Athabasca. We had a storm hit Sunday morning at about 5am that dumped 1.6" of rain in under an hour. The lake is up 3-4 vertical feet this year.

Sledderglens cabin up by Flatbush I cannot even get into with the truck and trailer because it too soft and wet. Really weird bands of rain this year for sure.

I am south of Rocky/ west of Caroline now. Beautiful campfire evening yesterday, rained quite a bit over night. Doubt there will be any bans around here. Mud today!
