I just acquired a 2016 renegade 1000 xmr and I really don't like how the silverbacks ride so I want to put on some 29.5 terminators but not sure if the factory rims will fit them. Was hoping to do 29.5x12x14 on the back and 29.5x10x14 on the front. Anyone see any issues with this setup? Will I need or want aftermarket rims for this?

I would go 10s all the way around . Are you set on the terms ? There are lighter better tires out there ...imo

But the backs are rough & hard on things , I agree ...
You should be able to run 30/10s on stock rims , in any case though .

What do you like about Silverbacks.

I think they are great tires.

I use my quad around my acreage quite a bit = no mud. I want a tire that's awesome in the mud but won't rattle my teeth out around my house... from the research that I've done Terminators are good choice

The lugs rip off on terms . And they don't clean out that well ...
Ride smooth though...
Try a cryptids or outback max ... better tires than terms ...
Terms are about 5 lb heavier per tire than a cryptid ( 30/10 ).
The cryptids will be far better in rocky hardback , as they are softer and flex a lot more ...FYI

I like the Cryptids as well it was a toss-up between the two. If memory serves me correct you're running Cryptids right?

Yes , probably the best tire I have run for my riding style & stand up real well too.
They ride amazing ...
We put on 350 k on hardpack and gravel at speeds over 110 k often just lately in nordegg .
For a tire that goes as well as these do in mud , that is an amazing feat to be great on rock / gravel and hardpack at speed as well.
Very good tire , indeed....

Mine are 29.75 at 8 lbs
keep in mind they are a flat profile tire . So a round tread tire will most likely measure taller & if measured on the machine .

They measure well though... no issues there.

Where would be a good place to pick a set of these up in Edmonton area?
