So I noticed the old dry my tires are getting a few dry rot cracks in them. So i'm going to need new tire really soon and started looking into them. I hear the ITP mud light tires are good but heavy. The KEND K299 bear claws look good. What do you guy know about the Traxion gripper Tire? They look a lot like the Maxxis bighorn. Thanks for any advice I get in advance!

ATV tires canada and get a set of traxion grippers. They are a great all around tire. Been running them for several years and will order another set when its time. They are a cheaper version of the bighorn tire

I know some people don't like them but I've been very happy with the Mud Lites, had them on for over 5 years and been thru all kinds of conditions.

I just put on a set of maxxis carnivores. I have to say, so far I am impressed! Awesome in snow. Grabs on rocks. Haven't seen enough thawed mud to try yet.

I run the 28" carnivores on a pioneer 1000. I was looking for a tire that's decent at most things. But you have to go in knowing it won't be the best at something. Just have to think about the majority of your riding

I ride a 12 outlander 800. I ride it all. Hard trail to some mud and rocks, sand etc. I'm looking for a all around tire not best at one thing but good at it all. I also want the tire to be light.

other than light you describe the Evolutions. With an outlander 800 why are you worried about the little extra weight? The 8 ply radial more than makes up for a bit extra weight.

I have the Traxion gripper max. 8ply radial and they seem to work pretty damn good although I've only had them out on two rides so far.

I have to agree with the zillas. Nice all around tire.
I here bad things about the mud lites but I had good luck with the on my mid size ranger. Anyone see or try the new style mud lites?
