Was outwith a few other machines in the snow , the maverick I have has a halo locker , the other 2 didn't. What a difference, night and day, seen the same last fall in the mud but wasn't as evident, just gotta remember to keep the wheels straight. The Polaris 4 wheel drive stock system certainly works better than the visco lock IMO.

Ya as much as I love the Can-Am, the Crisco lok leaves a lot to be desired. Did you get yours straight from Halo? How was the install?
Been wanting to pull the trigger on one for a long time now for my XDS. But $1800 US is a big kick in the nuts. Don't really have time to pull my old diff and send to them.
Then again, if the Disco lok lets me down anymore or starts to slip might have to pull the trigger.
The Polaris system is good, but its down right scary on ice or slippery conditions, with the back wheels having to turn faster than the front for it to engage. End up all over the place.
Factory locking diff is the one thing CAT did right IMO. Too bad couldn't keep everything else on the bike together.

The halo will explode the housing if you spin them in snow. Only cure is a Defender / X3 front diff.
