Bought this quad with under 500km on it. Got stuck in some snow, put it in 4x4 (not lock) and it made a slight bumping noise, figured the gears didn't mesh quite right so since then I always put it in 4x4 then gently bump the throttle before getting on the gas. Shift in 4x4 always at a standstill. Now when I put it in 4x4 today it stays in for a few minutes then shifts out on its own (4x4 still shows on gauge though). Any ideas why it would do this? Is it the front diff (gears) or the actuator or the switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It's usually the actuator. Check the little rubber boot at the front of the actuator. It's the diff lock one , water can get in there if it's ripped.
