I did some stuff like this back in the day in Mexico, was interesting for sure. Last year on a Greek island we toured the island on the quad, very neat checking out historical sites, secluded beaches and riding through small towns.
I was in Costa Rica last year too but we decided to skip on quadding that trip but next time for sure.

Easily the best destination this crew has done on a summer toy that I have watched.

If you are a dirt biker check out Costa Rica Unlimited (CRU). I did a 4 day ride with them a couple years ago, was a great trip. Riding was anything from nasty single track to blazing down a paved hwy (which was pretty awesome considering I was on a 2 stoke dirt bike). The terrain you cover is just amazing. The country as a whole is great, we felt safe everywhere we went even with out guides.

Has anyone rented or done a quad tour in Costa Rica? Heading there next month and looking to book some activities.

I did some pretty crazy things in the Prius rental lol. where are you of to in Costa Rica? Most of the tourists area have tour spots you can sign up to do these things, watch for the signs.
San Jose of course is big, everything under the sun but hard to find and get around, Jaco will have some and is a pretty good place to kick back. West coast side is full of tourists areas that provide activities to suit. East coast is not. Still a great place but port limon is sketchy as hell and down south is like a reggae paradise. The fried chicken in bre bre is to die for!
south central buenos Aires is in the Mountainest area and would be pretty awesome there to ride. Only past through once so far but I'd like to spend more time there as it feels more like home to me in some way.
totaly love it there! Hope you have a great time in CR!

Very nice ! Never been but here but hear it's a nice place. I've been just south around tamarindo, it's the dryer dessert part of the country.
You will be flying into Liberia I'm guessing. Asyou move south you will find a greener jungle like enviroment. Costa Rica is a great playground, I find it like BC in so many ways but with out the cold and snow we curse lol...
I'm back in April for another round of fun.
whoop whoop!

I'm so excited, not sure if you have kids ??? I love the rental car thing, but the kids will hate driving...right. I love to drive and so many things to see. I recommend it! Fun to get out and enjoy the Wild West of the roads and the way they drive lol ,it's safe enough. It's not to crazy but stay on your toes. Freedom to travel is great. It's not hard to find your way around but sometimes signage is hard to find....getting lost is the best adventure.

Cool little town for sure, I can see the place getting busier for sure over the years and based on who I've talked to it already has.

This planet is getting smaller for sure. Such a great spot but heading north on the back road there is lots of undeveloped area. This is for sure my favourite area. Down on the southern tip of golfito I find it very quite but your really out there lol, lots of jungle and to close to narcos fueling spots in my mind.... yikes never seen but just have that "I'm really out here alone white boy"
still, all and all one of the safest countries to visit.

Did you ride with Carlos? We did that a few years ago too. GF is pretty tame rider but we still had a blast.

We have also gone with Trac-On in Las Vegas. Another awesome time that I'd love to do again.
