2015 RZR S 900 fit on a 8ft sled deck?

Can anyone tell me if a 2015 RZR S 900 will fit on a 8ft Marlon sled deck?

I am trying to find out if I will need an extension or not?

Is the Marlon ramp wide enough for the 60" width to get up the ramp?

What is the best way to get the machine on the deck, winch it up from the machine to the headache rack?

It should fit with stock tires. "Should" Including your ramp. Id winch it up to try it the first time. Spread the deck out to give yourself more room the first time too. You could grab a tape measure and verify you length, remember the bumper.

no i have a 2009 standard razor with 27 inch tires and the tail gate will not shut on my 8 foot box the 2015 is longer might need an extension

What about loading it sideways? 8'6" unless you don't have that option on you're deck

I have a 8ft cross trax, my brothers rzr 800 just fit on the deck. Bumper was uptight on the head ache rack and the back tires where right on the edge. Just drove it up in low range. I wouldn't worry about winching. I think the 900 would be a tight fit

Hopefully your truck is a one ton dually or you will get in trouble here even if you are under legal weight.

I had 27" Mambas on my old 900, it fit on my 8' Cross-Trax with no problems. A typical ramp is only 52" wide, and most certainly not designed for the added weight of a SXS. I would look into getting an additional 12" wide ramp built to run along side the original. Talk to Wes at Cross-Trax...he'd be able to hook you up.

People on here seem to have issues with trucks that are under weight limits but aren't they way they would do things.

The other option is to lose the deck and put it in the bed, IF you have a longbox. I haven't done it as I don't need to but I have seen pics of a wildcat 1000 in the back of a truck with the tailgate down. It is way wider and longer then your rzr.

So bringing a old thread back up. I have a 8' Marlon deck and I'm thinking about purchasing a RZR S. I have a couple questions about loading it. I'm thinking I'm best off loading it backwards I wouldn't want to drive it up I would rather winch it up. My questions are what should I winch it to on the deck? The headache rack or probably a plate or something on the deck itsself? I'm thinking the headache isn't strong enough. Also I would have 2 dirt bike up on the deck at the same time, the dirt bikes fit on the extensions and all the bike weight is on them. I'm not sure if I would trust the 1" tubes on the extensions not to bend with the weight of the bikes bouncing down the road, has anybody beefed up the extensions some how?

Just curios what others are doing

Also this is probably a question for a different thread but I think instead of mounting a winch to the deck I would rather install a winch on the rear of the RZR. Is that possible if so can someone post pics?

I'm just thinking of ideas I don't really want to upgrade my travel trailer to a toy hauler.

I had a 2015 RZR S that I hauled in a 8’ marathon deck. I drove it up and backed off, never had an issue. It’s waaaayyyy safer than loading a quad because of the longer wheelbase. If it’s a 800S you’re looking at I don’t think the RZR part will b an issue

I load backwards so the main weight of the engine is forward. I ride mine up, just line up ramps in mirrors do the old granny 1 foot brake 1 gas 4wd on and crawl slowly. The second you spin for any reason stop and role down the ramp readjust or reposition truck if needed. You get used to it. Mine is a 7' truck boss with the extention makes 9'. I do have a 4500# winch mounted in case of no power on sxs but haven't used it yet. Just don't get complacent riding it up. It can always go bad in a second.

I'm think the side by side would have to be winched up regardless because I would have to load the dirt bikes first. I've had the 2 dirt bikes on the deck with a quad in the middle before. I have Bike Binderz to hold the bikes so I can have the handle bars turned. I'm just think winching will make sure the RZR goes on straight and I wouldn't have to navigate between the bikes I know it's going to be a tight fit. I am also thinking going on backwards is best to distribute the weight better. I'm thinking a 800s is probably going to suit us just fine. It's mostly for my wife and daughter to follow my boy and I around a bit and collecting fire wood etc. I like the s just because it's a bit wider and I'm thinking it would be a bit more stable.
