Any word on when suzuki intends to step up and put out a 1000cc 4x4?

Because if you never see a full head of hair on the trail again you might dry up and blow away like a dusty old fart? I consider it a public service LOL :D

just a heads up, these guys have many years of quadding riding and sxs ownership, u can run whatever air pressure you like, no one rally cares. they are trying to help you out, but you just won't listen. if you did you may learn something, otherwise all you'll get is ridicule and laughed at. totally up to u.

Save your wishing. Suzuki is dead. Keep an eye on the Suds Buds thread....I think you would have fun on our annual Medicine Lake spring day ride. I think I can speak for many in saying, we really wish you'd come. Show the old boys some real riding.

I admit we are old.... Real old. Some of us even ride sxs 's !
However by the time Suzuki builds a 850 single quad, you will
Be older too....in fact much older.
You may need a sxs and will only be able cruise along , get stuck,
And hardly keep up from the side lines....

Dave is right come ride your zuk now,
While you can still get parts for it....

Well all i can say is i didn't realize that max sidewall pressures didn't mean anything. May need new shocks for the 18 psi i will be needing. The suzuki is a good quad, but i didn't realize it was made for high speed trail riding. Wonder if putting 100 plus hp in the king quad frame would twist it like spaghetti,

Well glad to see the new gun is letting us in on this info, Hope to have him on a few trail rides this summer.

Rest assured Suzuki engineers are not stupid !!! They realize they are years behind all the other quad manufacturers in terms of power & performance......

That does not mean they will rush into a new 1000 single (KING TORQUE). Before they begin building the ultimate big bore 4X4 they will complete the full development cycle of the current line of 750 kings.........

In other words, until they get that absolute perfect combination of blend & balance between their new color scheme VRS bold new graphics, they simply will not rest !!!!

Customers are not concerned with more POWER,SUSPENSION,HANDLING ETC.....At this time, however once we have the right mix of visual appeal, we will address the other less important needs of our customers........................Suzuki Canada.

in all seriousness, at some point with the way things are going there may not be many places anymore power can be used. we will have some idea how much so when the southern alberta land use report comes out and is implemented. besides there is not much thrill in making it through every mud hole, or doing mach chicken on the trail, as it becomes extra dangerous. the best way to regulate the power industry is put a staggered licencing system on the trails, you want big power it is going to cost ya. bet it won't take long before 400cc atv's become popular again.

if it makes you feel better i let out a bunch of air about 2 miles into the hylo rally.... could'nt get traction on nothing, also, i swapped out the stock suspension long ago, the stock springs didn't handle jumps all that well

didn't think the frame would survive jumping, front end gets a little skittish just trail riding let alone jumping it, hmm guess i never new you might get better traction with less air in the tires. good info. You do know that you are not allowed to have ATVs or UTV"s in the pluz zones out west with more than 16 psi in tires! that is against the law out there. FYI read the regulations, don't think it is enforced though lol
