I had to recently replace the battery in my KQ I did one short run and plowed the drive way with it. I went to go plow the other night and ran into an issue. Every time I go to use the plow it kills my machine. The only way to get it to start is to hook up the charger, after it starts it runs fine but as soon as I hit the winch switch it ides and will not restart until I hook up the charger. If I start it and don't run the winch and shut if off it will restart no problem. Any thoughts?

load test battery.....sounds like battery has just enough life to start engine once.....I bet it wont start the engine if you leave the head lights on for 5 mins.....the winch pulls a lot of power....if battery does not have proper storage it will kill engine and then it wont start.......just my 2 cent but I know nothing! lol

When you replaced the battery, did you fill it with acid and give it a low amperage charge for 10 hours?

Thats really the only thing I can think of, unless they gave you the wrong battery?

Thanks for the tips guys, did try all that with no success. But after much trouble shooting and wire chasing, success finally. It was a broken ground wire of all things.
