I got mine done at Camrose cycle, you should phone and see if they still have a guy to do it cuz he changed his job position there and I dont know if someone else took over. I also am sure that the Wetaskawin yamaha dealer does it as well. Good luck, it is a pretty intense inspection!

Not to thread jack but where would a guy go to buy a salvaged bike? (in BC) I've always wanted to get a late model bike tear it down and rebuild it so I'd know how everything worked. And save some money in the process

Bought mine at the adesa impact auction, paid 20cents on the dollar for it and fixed it up and put 6000 Km's on it, rides like a new one! There is tons of bikes, quads, sleds, you name it but it may take a bit to find exactly what you are looking for.

I see that the only way a guy can register too bid is if you have a shop...any hoops I can jump through to get around that?

They do have the typical fees, buyers fee etc but other than that i don't think they are too bad. I have a dealers licence so it was no problem for me to set up an account but to start from scratch I am not sure what hoops you will have to go through to get started. You may have to set up yourself as a small business or something but I don't think they even asked me for a gst number, dunno maybe it is too much hassle and so they keep it down to just dealers only. I will keep my account there for sure.

Adesa you need a dealer license. Or know someone who has one to purchase for you.
They can online bid for you.

I have one I'd sell. Needs a new crankcase and front wheel. Other than that it's all cosmetic damage. Not written off by insurance (only had pink slip) so no inspection needed to re-register it.
