After many years of playing with bikes, I picked up my first Harley. Decided that it had to be an XR 1200. Always liked the old dirt tracker from the 70's. I was told that the 12's were sold out for the year. There was a slightly used 2010 sitting on the floor. Only had 1200 km on it and a 10K sticker. How could I leave it there ?

Welcome to your mid life crisis!

You can't have a midlife crisis if you never let yourself grow up, LOL. Love the bike. I have put 500 km on it. Just did it's 1600 service myself. It's very easy to work on, unlike my Yamaha. Funny thing, the Harley guys won't return my wave on the highway. It must look metric from a distance.

Well,I have put 2000 km on it so far and it is fantastic. Very nice to flick into the corners and it will lean over like crazy. The torque is incredible. 55 MPG. 7000 rpm on the rev limiter. It is Soooooooooo much fun.
