Any broker that works with Jevco. bikes cost me about $600 through them. I hear Nordic is another good company for bikes.

My inlaws were killed in a bike accident in 02. Jevco was great to deal with. I have mine thru Home for Chrome (Dalton Timmins @ $800/yr) right now but I plan on getting quotes with Jevco and Legends insurance. Legends is very cheap but you need an appraisal. Time to start shopping around.

Legends posts their rates online - Legends Collector Vehicle Insurance (Medicine Hat, Alberta) - Get Insured Now!
Anyone have any feedback on Legends?

Just looked it up. Both my Harley's for $1200 a year and its Nordic that he went through.

Just checked for this season. 1000$ for 8 months, liability alone.

I need to get old.

My bad experience last week.
I decided to look around and see if I can lower my insurance costs.
Looked into Legends but since I'm honest and will be riding to and from work as much as possible I couldn't go with them. They were just under $400/yr for full coverage.
I then decided to check the insurance company I use for my truck, car, sled and house - Meloche Monnex. I used their online quote system and it came up $300/yr cheaper than what I'm paying now. I thought... great! I called my current insurance co. and told them I was switching and why. They sent me a cancellation form which I filled out and sent back right away. That night, I phoned Meloche Monnex and told them I did this quote online and I'd like to get the insurance. When I gave them my VIN, they said oh no, we can't insure your bike. It's on our restricted list. WTF! They direct me to their sister company - TD Primmum. They will only insure my bike with collision if I have an alarm installed. What the hell does collision have to do with an alarm? I said fine, lets say I have the alarm, how much? They are $100 more than the insurance I just cancelled and that's with multiple policies and my discount for SAIT Alumni. Something else I found out. I had read the brief descriptions of Comprehensive and Specified Perils and thought based on those write-ups, I'll just get the specified perils. The guys asks me if I'm worried about vandalism. Nah, I'm never too far from the bike. Then he asks if I'm concerned about a collision with a live animal. On a bike.. always.
Specified perils does not cover you for this type of collision. Good to know.
I backtracked the next day and luckily the old insurance co. reinstated me without a problem.

We get so ripped off for this stuff as Canadians, I just insured a brand new 2010 Triumph Tiger in Arizona for $92 bucks for the year. No collision, just your basic coverage but much cheaper than the same coverage on my 2002 V-Strom in Canada!!
