Trying to find my daughter a green 250 ninja. I think the Kawasaki dealership in Nelson burnt down, and I contacted the dealership in Cranbrook, but the sales woman informed me that the green one there is for her, so the only one for sale is the black. Our daughter really has her heart set on a green one. Anyone know of a good dealership in or close to the Kootenays. Thanks again

Thats kinda rude she is keeping for herself, unfare actually, has she paid for it yet. If not I would talk to the manager and let him know you want it and will pay immediatly. I know I would rather for sure sell it than keep it all summer waiting for my sales girl to save enough to buy it then not buy it and have to take a hit on a year old bike the next season.

I didn't quite understand her attitude. I was left with the impression that she is purchasing it, but hasn't done so yet. When I asked if they were getting another in she said. Absolutely not. By the end of the conversation she did say she could check other dealerships. Don't quite know what to make of it.:confused::confused:

Just talked to the owner of the dealership. Very good guy, very helpful and polite. He is trying to find her a green one. Things are looking up. Keep your toes crossed!

Just came home. Our daughter bought her bike. The owner at the dealership was absolutely awesome. He spent so much time with us assisting with everything we needed. Our daughter ended up with the black one but is going to have some custom paint done to it to give her bike the look she wants.

She's sending me the pics I took of her. They are on her phone. She hasn't rode it yet, but has sat on it and reved the engine! Lol! We took a sound recording of it on her phone. I promise, tomorrow I will post pics. It's pretty cool.

Me tooo...
always excited to see new metal.
Its a priceless moment that she obviously deserves !!

She is the hardest working 23 year old I've ever seen. The bike is at the dealership, we'll go and pick it up on Tuesday.
I'm going to see if she'll sign up for her own snow and mud account and post the pics herself!:d

Yup you said it, from the minute you write the cheque/sign the papers until they actually hand you the keys and drive it home is worse than Christmas.

You can see it, you know what it is, it's not wrapped in a box, with a pretty bow on top. You just can't have it yet:(:(

I'm sure she'll love it Sleddmom, just curious has she ridden much street bike before? I grew up riding dirtbikes all the time and I couldn't believe how awkward I felt for the first couple days...I couldn't just plant my foot, goose on the gas and flip the bike around:headbanger:

Anyways looking forward to seeing pictures:beerchug:

She hasn't ridden a street bike at all, so this will be a huge learning curve for her. She is amazing at everything she does, so I have no doubt this will be no different. She has been riding her dirt bike for a while, but like you said the transition will be a big one!
