Does anyone know of a good upholstery shop in the Edmonton area that does MC seats? The passenger seat on my M109r is a bit too hard for my wife and I like to get it re-done. Mine isn't great either but I have a lot more padding on my ass than she does! I've seen on some MC forums that there are places that will add memory foam or gel to make the ride better and easier on the butt. I'm thinking re-upholstery would be less costly then a new seat.

Thanks!

Seat upholstery is seat upholstery, boat, car, bike, the methods and materials are all interchangeable in my mind. Try Wayne's on Argyll. Maybe C&M on the southside as well.

There is a guy off of 92ave nw and 50 st that does awesome work re did my quad seat but I seen pictures of his stuff and does a bang up job. I got his number from a motorcycle/quad used parts place . There isn't many so hopefully that helps I do have his contact info at my house but I'm up north working atm.

If you like the fit of you're seat but just want gel added then ya pay 200-300 and add it. You say your seat isn't the greatest...get a custom one, you will increase seat time for sure! Saddlemen, Mustang and Corbin have made some more then worth the money seats for me. Not sure how the aftermarket options are for a suzuki tho.

They all make good ones for the M109R I believe. Ultimate has what seems to be the most popular with Corban to follow.

I took the seat off my Suzuki marauder 1600 and had it redone to the tune of $400 because I figured it was cheaper then buying an aftermarket seat. Then the next year I bought the Corbin seat anyhow. Now I have an expensive factory seat hanging on the wall. Moral of the story. These seat manufacturers know what they are doing. Redoing your own seat is a crap shoot.
