douchebags cut the 600 off my sidepanel decals to pass if off as a 800. Cut up the manufacturer info stickers as well and ignition is punched out.

They kept my tunnel bag and polaris cover. At the dealer getting sorted out as we speak. Trailer as been reassesed and will get repaired.

Other then that the sleds in amazing shape, it will get a full mechanical inspection.

Autocorrect? Brain Damage? Powder Turns!!!!!!

So further details include that the sled was sold to a person out of Airdrie for 3 Grand. They met in a totem parking lot in the NW. Was sold as an 800 Pro and the bill of sale was a joke it was so poorly written.

Buyer checked at registry to check the sled out, but a registry cant tell you its stolen, only the CPIC website or the police can. Sled was registered and this gave stolen vehicles a hit on the vin. They went out to the registered address and were able to recover the sled. Went from impound to the dealer and the inspection is good. Awaiting parts and such. They did pry at the gauge cluster a bit and ****ed up the plastic around it too.

Cover and tunnel bag still stolen, even though i burned up Kijiji looking for my sled, it was apparently sold through Kijiji, must have been up for a very short duration. Cops had 100 cases in front of them for stolen vehicles, the rash of theft lately is apparently crack addicts that are stealing things quick for even quicker scores to ski the alps. Too bad this ****s up **** for honest people, including those who like to sled the rockies, ironically. I got something better to go up their noses, my boot. Its healthier and even more informative.

gotta wonder what the idiots who bought this were thinking a 10,000 sled for three g's and meeting in a parking lot... wonder if he is going to get charged for possession of stolen property

Sounded like someone who was just clueless, sadly.

its the people who buy this stuff at cheap prices who are feeding the stolen market. Like they were that clueless to think it wasn't anything but stolen. I hope they are out there money now.
They are out of their money. They can try a sue the seller, but good luck with that.
