I suggest emailing this to the Golden, Revelstoke, Sicamouse, Valemount, McBride etc snowmobile clubs.

I do not have contact info but I'm sure the old google can help you out.

Ok everybody, pulled the cover off and checked everything, engine starts and runs great, temps good. They didnt touch anything.

The irony of this story is they stole it after we left home again to go to the Calgary Snowmobile club meeting, crazy.

After talking to the cops and insurance, that night we gave out leaflets to neighbours and asked them if they saw anything, A neighbour was walking his dog and saw what looked like my trailer and sled being towed away by city wide towing, from the Auburn Bay lakehouse, 1 mile away from my house. The asshats stole the trailer and sled and drove away that far, got scared for some reason, maybe saw a cop, and ditched it there. City Wide impounded it at 6:50 and it entered the city impound at around 9 that night. We got home from the meeting around 9:30 and i didnt notice it until the shadows in the backyard looked wrong when i turned the house lights off to go to bed. So from the neighbour who gave me the solid intel, i ran over to the south cop shop and told them this, they stated City Wide has the contract for Calgary Police and does all their towing. They called the impound and said that at least the trailer was there as the trailer plate was in the impound system. I raced home to get any and all proof of ownership to get my machine back. Raced down to the impound lot and started asking questions, they had it and they said sled was still on the trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did the paperwork and because they didnt tell the cops and i was in a hurry to get my sled back, i had to pay the bull**** 192 dollar tow charge with i am appealing and will get back. Got into the impound lot and it was all there, unscathed! unmolested! They cut the excess on the ratchet straps holding the back of the machine for some reason...?? Got it out there, called the cops letting them know i recovered it and raced to Walmart before it closed to get security cable to lock it down by running it through the rims and tires and the sled tunnel itself and parked Honey's car in front of it in the back for good measure. Cops showed up for the final police report and all is good. Going to Atlas for a ride tomorrow!

Christmas bloody miracle for sure, the cops said they can count on one hand the number of recoveries. Lock your **** down!!! Insure your trailers and machines! Get security on your garages. We ALL need to work together to stop these f**king **sholes from stealing our hard earned machines.
