I got a call from the RCMP that my 2016 rzr was recovered in the back of a stolen bakery truck. Thank you Sicamous RCMP for finding my rzr and supporting me in getting my mobile park owner on the right track as far as security. Just a message to the the cowardly thieves . I am starting to take this **** personal and I do not like you stealing my toys like the 2015 t3 and triton trailer last year about this time this **** is starting to annoy me. Go out and get a job and buy you own toys. Another message to my neighbors I pay good money for so called seçured storage so show a little support or maybe next time it will be your 100,000 boat that will be taken.

Good too hear that things are working out.

Its the craps that us hard working folk have to deal with this crap day in and day out.

Did we lock the shed, oh,,, wheres the key for the pad lock for the bikes.

Did I lock the house when I left for work today. Is the front, side, and back gate locked too.

I hope someone set the alarm system when they left the house.

On and on and on like a broken record that never ends.
Guess this is what our planet looks like going forward from here on in.

Sure would be nice too have property rights here in Canada like they have in the USA.

There would be way less sticky finger humans out there if that be the case.

Purhaps the time has come for us as Canadians too lobby government for a property rights law. That way we own what we own.

I understand what your saying but in the situation I am in a lot of what has occurred could have been prevented with in our legal system. In today's climate to prevent theft in Canada you need to provide the rcmp with as much information as possible as soon as possible. In first theft a vehicle entered the park and cut a lock a 2:00 in the afternoon right across the way the so called park Manger was downing rum while another neighbor took a picture of the perpetrators and approached the so called park Manger if the police should be called. Later in the year a poor man with a brain injury ended up being swindled and lived in the storage compound and I was the first to call the police when he drove into my driveway and claimed he owned my truck. He literally scared the he'll out of the officer that came to the scene when we approached him. The poor fellow had lost the lock to the compound and the officer that night said we cannot lock him in. I said he myself and others witnessed him driving impaired as well as this a storage compound and what if some thing goes missing. That situation went on for five days before the poor man was taken into custody After breaking a car window within the compound. For that situation to transpire as long as it did was ludicrous. I pay for secure storage within the compound for my rec stuff and expect a certain amount of safety around my home in which I pay rent for the land. With a little common sense and diligence all the above could have been avoided.

Firstly I want to say we all feel your pain and hope the situation improves.....it is BS how much theft there is and how little the authorities are able to do about it. Now stop reading my post here until you have calmed waay waaaay down.

It sounds like Mr Lahey didnt want to evict Bubbles, and maybe they were just taking the RZR to get its recall done ;)

You didn't stop reading when I asked.....now I have to apologize again....I do hope things get better there.

I think it was Barb that told Lahey not to evict Bubbles.

So far the JT way of going softer on crime is working out great .... if you make your living stealing other people's belongings.

the recalls were done but maybe the thieves did not think so and wanted it to start fire to bake the bread. I do not know what code names you are using to identify the people involved frankly if you do not live there and are not exposed to the bs on a daily basis I would appreciate you keep your thoughts on the situation to yourself. And by the way I am calm if you want to see me angry keep putting your two cents in online or we could meet in person and I could calmly explain what has transpired and if you have any suggestions on how to improve the situation I would be willing to listen... thanks

It was an attempt to deflect some humor onto a bad situation. No code names just characters from the Trailer Park Boys TV show that maybe you haven't seen. Again if it wasn't taken by you in the spirit I meant the joke then I apologise a second time. If you want to rip me a new one then pm me and I will give you my phone number or drive hours this way in anger and do it in person. The asking you to stay calm and proactive apology in my earlier post was meant so hopefully we wouldn't have a misunderstanding as to my attempt at humor.

Again we all feel your pain when it comes to theft.

Take a chill pill, if you need to turn to the internet for advice you have to take the good with the not so good. That fact that after an innocent post you have to resort to "meet in person and calmly explain" really shows way more about you than any other thing you have posted. The Lahey and Bubbles thing appears to much closer to home than you know.

I fully understand that you mean to inject humor into the situation and I did respond with some as well. I have no intent what so ever to(rip you a new u no what)and if my response gave you that impression I am truly sorry. Somehow I was trying to convey that proper security and prompt notification may lead to the apprehension of thieves or the escalation of the other situation if I did not convey that as well I did a poor job of expressing myself. Take care and anyone reading this thread I will update any actions that have taken place that might be useful to other forum members to prevent situations as I described to happen to themselves.

I am not looking for advise I was supplying information although anyone was free to comment on that information and you are correct that possibly the bubbles comment did hit home as I though a person who may have been a danger to himself and others situation was sad and as the rcmp officer conveyed to me handled poorly. I think that says a lot about me which I view as positive. Thank you for your insight which you are welcome to give at anytime. If I do not agree with what you say in the future. I may comment on that as well but I certainly will adhere to the intent of you comment which I think I understand. Thank you for your contribution.

nasty situation, seems like this type of thing happens so much lately, people get immune to it quickly when hearing this everyday. hopefully these guys get caught and get justice. i'm afraid society can't build jails fast enough for thieves and criminals and there like.
