Glad to see there are a few Bruins fans here. I'm from the northeast and have been a Boston sports fan since the early 70's. Been to Fenway many times but never got a chance to take in a Bruins, Celtics or Pats game.

I like the Bruins to beat up on Montreal but we need to stay out of the penalty box and play smart hockey.

I would love to see a Bruins vs Blackhawks SC final but I think the Canucks are too good and they will probably take the first series in 7 games over Chicago.

my only concern is that the bruins are gunna expend alot of energy beating up on mtrl due to the rivalry, i hiope they can stay fresh enough because they're physical game is what can take them all the way

WTF is a Hab anyways? Bruins played like they were scared to lose and din't hit like they normally do. I'm sure that will all change after they look at the game tape. Go Bruins!!!

French nicknames for the team include Les Canadiens (or Le Canadien), Le Bleu-Blanc-Rouge, La Sainte-Flanelle,[3] Le Tricolore, Les Glorieux (or Nos Glorieux), Les Habitants, Le CH and Le Grand Club. In English, the team's main nickname is the Habs, an abbreviation of "Les Habitants". (Note: Even in English, the French spelling, Canadiens, is always used.) Founded in 1909, the Canadiens are the longest continuously operating professional ice hockey team and the only existing NHL club to predate the founding of the NHL, as well as one of the oldest North American sports franchises. The franchise is one of the "Original Six" teams, a description used for teams that were part of the NHL from 1942 until the 1967 expansion. Following the departure of the rival Quebec Nordiques in 1994, and the relocation of the Montreal Expos to Washington, DC in 2004, the Canadiens remain the sole team of the four major sports leagues of Canada and the United States that is based in the province of Quebec. The team's championship season in 1992–93 marks the last time a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup.[4]
The Canadiens have won the Stanley Cup more times than any other franchise. They have won 24 championships, 22 of which being since the cup became solely competed for within the NHL in 1927.[5] On a percentage basis, as of 2010, the franchise has won 25% of all Stanley Cup championships contested after the Challenge Cup era, making it one of the most successful professional sports teams of the traditional four major sports of Canada and the United States

That red part is for the Oilers fans that won't stop yipping about their great history

Hey thanks for that, now when someone asks me what a Hab is I can tell them and actually know what i'm talking about.;)

As for the Bruins, well, they continue to play like they are scared. They need to start putting some bodies in front of Price and start hitting like they usually do. And Suppan (sp?) better be careful with his taunting crap or he's going to be leaving some chiklets on the ice. Chara returns for the next game and I feel good about their chances of getting that first win on Wednesday.

Looks like having Chara back made all the difference for the Bruins, they played so much better with him back in the lineup. Now they are playing Bruins hockey once again except for one thing, Thomas needs to pay a little bit closer attention to what's going happening on the ice, those 2 goals never should have gone in and he should have had a shut out.
