Actually, I'm not all that surprised they let Chiarelli go, he made some stupid moves this season and IMO that spelled the demise of the Bruins. Trading Johnny Boychuck to the Islanders was icing on the cake for me.

I watched the Flames/Canucks game last night and I just found a new team to root for, the Calgary Flames!

Wasn't tough at all, I like a tough gritty team and the Flames seem to fit that mold quite well. They'll have a tough row to hoe with the Ducks but with the long layoff hopefully the Ducks will come out flat in game 1.

Congratulations to Patrice Bergeron for winning his 3rd Selke Trophy!! The Bruins are blessed to have him on their team.

Lucic to the Kings and Hamilton to Calgary? Cap crunch sucks!

WTF are the Bruins thinking? I can see moving Lucic but Hamilton was supposed to be the Bruins next great D-man. I'm not seeing any playoff runs for them anytime soon...

Cap crunch hurts. Next is the black hawks. They will have to ditch someone. Sharp, Seabrook? They would love to get rid of Bickle but at $4 million that is not happening.

Should be intresting watching the B,s this up coming season with the new aquires Sweeney went from ahole to smart really quik in 12 days. We will see this season might not be a top ten team right now but the teams in the East will have some tough games ahead when they play the B,s plus all the other guys that came on last year are going to have to step it up a notch, pasternak, spooner, krug, mcquaid and especially krejci he so better be healthy and ready to produce otherwise i can see him gone. Cant always rely on marchi, bergi, chara to carry the whole team. IMO.

I just hope they win some games next season, this is going to be a fairly young team but there's good leadership on board so that should help a bit. Beat Montreal and the Pens and I'll be a happy B's fan. lol

For sure its going to be a long season for the B,s, but still my fav team for a long time. Think this will be Chara,s last year though, they should really look at getting rid of injury prone Mcquaid,Seidenberg, and really look at trying to sign Buff from the Peg cause Wpg wont be able to keep Ladd/Buff think Ladd will sign but buff will want 8 mill. Other than that we have a real mess down there right now and hope Sweeney can straighten it out in the near future.

Oh yeah, I'm with you, i'll watch as many of their games as I can but it will be painful. Hopefully this only last this year and they get back to being the Bruins of old before too long. Seidenberg is damned good defenseman but your right about his injuries and Chara, well he's getting a bit long in the tooth and he really should consider retiring. I'm sure Habs fans are loving every minute of this too...........lol.

Bruins are playing way better than I had I ever thought they could this season and are just a few points behind Montreal with a couple games in hand. Marchand, Bergeron, Krecji and the forwards are clicking on all cylinders, I hope they can keep it going.

Nice win in Montreal last night against a struggling Canadian's team. To be honest though, I'm glad the season series is over between them.

B's are looking good these days for such a young team and the third 3rd best record in the NHL to boot. Hopefully they can make it out of the 1st round this year.

Bruins had me worried there for a little bit in game 7 but really took over the game in the 3rd period. Come on Boston, no more game 7's this time around, I don't think I can take another one.
