Flames got a massive upgrade with Markstrom. This is the guy the Oilers needed to complete that team. Koskinen let another soft one in tonight.

unfortunately you're right... several deals for a goalie have fallen through :( ... I say Nuge and Nurse for #1 goalie, like Fleury?

last knight Koskinin is the reason that game wasn't a 7-1 blowout....no rockstar but he played ok.

Agree with ya Ric....Nurse and Nuge would be a good pop off for a better goalie. Vegas wouldn't want our table scraps. Nuge and Nurse over 11mil. Think Flurry around 7. One can dream tho...

i know the vegas coach likes lehnan over fleury, so might be a trade they're into... Canucks apparently tried for fleury before they settled on what they got.

Also hearing Gudreau will not resign after this yrs contract is up. Want to play in Philly where he grew up and idolized the team.

Canucks are in big trouble. Looks like the players have said F-U to management. I doubt any of their top players will re-sign after the way the last batch of top players was treated. They are paying millions in cap dollars to players who who either don’t play or will never play. Three years before they have any cap space. Lots of dead weight with big contracts.
Time for some new management.

Braden Holtby was not happy with teammates last night. What is said on ice stays on ice he said to interviewer

Flames got lucky last night. Thought they were vastly outplayed by Oilers but when your goalie is letting one in every 5 shots you won't win many games.

some bad missed calls by NHL refs.... the penalty on McD was a trip by Tanev &/or Giordano.... sad, they can't keep up with his speed!!! Oilers have Smith back tonite, so hopefully a better outcome than the game against the flamers

Geoff Ward fired and Darryl Sutter back behind the Flames bench. Johnny B Good and Monny will have a coach that they will have to answer to now. No more coasting which should be good for the Flames.
