I’m not a huge fan of Jake Michaels but it’s better than having to listen to Ray Ferraro.

As for the Oilers I’m hoping to see a bit more defence. 97 and 93 are not going to play tonight’s game every night, although I can dream about it. And Holland is going to have to make a hockey trade for a goalie at some point. Going to be tough to pull off this year though.

Vancouver played way better last night. And they’re missing 2 decent players due to COVID protocols. They could look good this year.

Calgary....... all I can say is ABC. (Anyone but Calgary).

Game 1 was hard to watch, nobody was gelling. Sloppy passing, not finishing checks. Even Kass looked slow, where's the hits guy?. Last night was a lot better...still not sold on the line ups but Yami and McJesus looked good. Yami is a grinder and i like this kid but at the rate he's going in two games he will rack more penalty mins then Kass or Khaira. Glad Smith isnt playing yet...keep that guy outta the net IMO.

Oilers will win games if Leon and McDavid can get 4 in the net per night but there defence is still weak goalies can be so hot and cold they sure are fun to watch though. McDavid must of missed 7 chances the first night he plays so much better mad . That Vancouver team looks good to me Horvat is legit. I also expect Calgary to do well there built for the regular season.
