Agreed!
As a pair, these two seemed to know where the other one was on the ice.....Although both are good players, I doubt either of them would have had been that great if they didn't get to play together. GM Brian Burke made an excellent business decision to step out and get both of them. The move by Brian was a win/win for the Canucks and the Sedin sisters.

Agreed it’s a sad day. Very skilled and durable players. Not many can survive the NHL for 18 years. Like them or hate them, you have to acknowledge their skill and professional attitudes. Hall of famers I would think.

there is no doubt they will become Hall of famers eventually.

Great players and lots of grit to play so long at the star level in this league but always felt they were never able to shift into that next gear needed for playoff hockey success.

watched the game against Vegas last night. That was a great / exciting game and hats off to the Vegas players to stay on the ice and shake the twins hands after the game. Very classy!

Not many other players have played more games and with the same team. They didn't miss many games and often played hurt or sick. I think there skill level actually changed the way the game is played now.

still two of the best players to ever play the game while being such great ambassadors for the team and the league plus philanthropist in donating a million dollars each to the Children's Hospital.

And no cup

was a fun night despite the tragic accident and tribute to the Humboldt Broncos. there was a nice video tribute to the Sedins, along with a standing ovation from the entire crowd. a classy display by the Oilers organization and fans to honor a couple players from one of their most bitter rivals. I respect the Sedins for their long and successful careers in the NHL, but we heckled them every time one of the many Canucks fans would start chanting their names. got a few of them quite upset, one even started cursing at us until several people told him to stop swearing in front of the kids nearby...lol.

the heckling was fun, but at the end everyone stood and applauded them.
