we really needed that win.... lets hope its the start of bigger things to come. I think how well talbot played last year is what made the difference vs this year. He has struggled but is the reason we won last night and will be the reason we win or lose moving forward. Its not the mcdavid show to win.

The Oil are Limp and lifeless, what's up? the curse of the big contract's, bad karma, bad coaching. I'm a die hard Oilers fan and this is wearing very thin hope we can make the play-offs.

Long term contract guys are just mailing it in.

To prevent this I suggest taking their salary. Divide it by 82 games. And only pay them for the games they win.
Guaranteed spike in motivation.

Also doesn't help Leon banging nurses girlfriend.

Wasn't he banging Nurses sister? And Nurse gave him a concussion early season because he was bragging about it.

I don't get what has changed so much on the back end this year compared to last. I get maybe the lack of offense as some of the trades are producing like hoped, but the 4 and 5 goals against...

Its depressing, used to listen to every game on the radio, and go in a second, now loosing interest big time. Something has to change, but tough to do. Listening to Bob and the guys on 630 ched today about this.
