Anyone watching it? I wasn't interested in really watching it but after watching a couple of games I am kinda hooked. Its some really good hockey.

I have found myself really rooting for team NA, those guys are so skilled, fast and fun to watch. Its unfortunate they lost to Russia as I thought NA was the better team for most of the game apart from the 4 goal lapse they had in the second.

Team Europe has been a huge surprise being 2-0 in round robin games.

Also I am cheering for Canada of course. I hope to see team NA and Canada face off.

Anyone else been getting into it or have input?

Murray the NA goalie was injured on a hit from the Russians in the crease... Pushed in by the NA defenceman... Russia scored on the next 4 shots. Possible broken thumb,or at least badly sprained, is the initial report. That's too bad, as the NA kid team outshot Russia almost 2 to 1...... It's really good hockey from all teams.

Yeah that's too bad, last I heard they were saying he just jammed it but obviously it was bothering him quite a bit as a couple of the goals were a little weak. He has been solid for the majority of the time though. Gibson filled in decently last night but he just doesn't give me the same confidence that Murray does. Hopefully they can work it out because they certainly have the chance to make some noise and upset some teams.

He should of had it looked at after the first goal... Very selfish play ! Canada was buzzing though ...they should of scored on the 5 on 3 though ... They let the pressure get to them on it .
Great showing by the oiler guys .... Nuge was huge .

Well team Canada pulled it off which isn't super surprising. They didn't really deserve to win tonight because they only showed up for the last five minutes of the game. But hey a win is still a win.

Now we have to wait for the NHL season to start.

I agree that the Oilers will definitely improve this year. I don't think it will be enough to make the playoffs though, but they should be a bubble team I think until they can improve their defense a little more. They look really solid upfront with their forwards though. As long as they don't do better than the Flames then I will be happy haha.

They need trouba :)

Trouba would be a significant upgrade but I don't see it happening. Winnipeg is rumored to want an equal player in age and potential that is a left hand shot in return. Edmonton doesnt really have that to offer unless they give up Nurse or Klefbom plus extras to make it worth while.
