Royal Distributing and Fly Racing

I am just wanting to share my experience with Royal Distributing and Fly racing. i order a fly racing 7'' riser from royal d, which was delivered quick and the product looked good. However when i was putting them on the sled i had a hell of a time trying to get the handle bar flat and after 15mins of fighting with it i gave up. i took the risers off and measured the center to center to find that the two side were off by an 1/8''. no wonder i couldn't get the bars to sit level...

i sent a polite email explaining the situation to both fly and Royal Distributing. i didn't ask for a refund and i wasn't interested in returning them as i figured it would be easier to just file them down. The real issue i have here is Royal D didn't even reply to my email and all that Fly racing said was thanks for letting us know. not even a sorry for the inconvenience, that's some bullchit right there.

Update, Fly racing stepped up and replaced my risers free of charge. excellent people to deal with.

kind of a pain alright, 5 minutes with a dremel tool should have you up and running, shipping costs back n forth will kill ya. think royal distributing should have helped you out.

@SMC, first of all, thank you for buying a Fly Racing product. I do apologize for the issue, that's not normal for us. I also apologize for the poor customer service you received and would like to know more about that. If you have any email that you could send me about it, I will follow up personally. I would also like to replace your riser so you have the product you paid for.

Always somebody somewhere with the authority to fix the situation watching. Choosing to actually step up and help/resolve is what makes a difference. Kudos to Jason. Let us know how you make out.

Well im happy to say that Fly was great to deal with and i have a new set of risers coming my way free of charge. thanks again Jason.

@smc I hope the new risers worked out as you hoped. Just to clarify here, I was speaking only on behalf of Fly Racing and our customer service department. After reading through the posts, I didn't want there to be any confusion or misinterpretation on my intent or who I was referring to or representing. Royal Distributing is a great partner with Fly Racing and together we always want to offer the best quality products on the market. Thanks again for your business.
