Just had it installed into my 2013 800 PRO RMK.... Took it to Blue River that weekend found over four feet of fresh powder. Exceeded my expectations in the deep snow. No adjustments needed throughout the whole trip. Took it on some good climbs no hesitation at all. On some technical climbs through the trees being on and off the throtle had no lag. I am blown away by its performance. loving how there is no adjustments or tinkering around on the hill just pure riding. My thanks goes out to all the guys at Mountian Magic especially Ken as well as HM Turbos...Thanks, guys.

Sounds like a great runnin sled. How was it in the tight trees at 240? I am looking at the same kit should arrive soon (not soon enuf) will have it setup at 190 till I get used of it and give some buddies a day or two of bragging or maybe scratching there heads.

Ps. Didn't take long for a few to get this post way off track, kinda disappointing for us that would rather read about the review or post topic rather than all their personal BS.

I have no problem with MM at all, like I said before but some people have a poor memory, I don't wanna just read about how good their product is on the Internet, I wanna see them work in real life situations, is that too much too ask?
If you can't handle my posts than just ignore it, but for the consumer that doesn't know any better dont they deserve to know what is working before they purchase?

Soooooo why go on the internet ???? especially a sledding forum? Pretty sure that’s where people talk about this stuff. You shoud take your own advice if you cant handel it and ignore how good their products are!

Did you call MM directly and ask to ride with them so you can see for yourself, how much more real life can you get?

Did you read my post? Or just spit out something stupid!
I'm not looking for anyone's respect, I'm just here stating the truth, and I knew a good percentage of people would get mad and annoyed like yourself. I will let this thread go for now but I can't stand it when guys say they will put their 800 turbos up against any other turbo!

So calm down and don't get so stressed out about my posts.

Ill let things go for awhile, looks like I'm ruining people's fantasy Internet life.

LMAO no one is stressed about your posts Captain Awesome, there are 10 guys a week like you on this site, thinking they are revolutionary for "stirring it up", so get over yourself.

Here's a website that would welcome your membership. www.snowest.com

Don't go away mad....just go away.

Back to original topic please.

How dare OP come on here and say something positive about modifications to his machine or finding good snow! He's a liar! Ban him from the site!

Well sled with HM turbo finally here!! Hope to try out this weekend, wife permitting.

Looks like some new fluff up there. Will try and get some vid if weather good. Think a buddy has a helmet cam. Lol, will have to borrow his helmet or let him test ride.

Try and get this thread back on track eh!

Breaking in the hm sled today. 16 oz of oil in the tank runnin on 94 pump. Rode with an almost stock 2012rmk 800 and 1100 kitty. A foot and a half of fresh on a weak crust, with sugar under the crust. On the way up we have to go through about 5 miles of tight tree trail, no hiccups. Throttle response very good kept throttle as steady as I could and hit when needed and entering small meadows. No pumping to get boost up. It was there when you need it.

Let my buddy with the rmk try out and asked him what he thought of the throttle response in comparison to his. He said no comparison and that ride probably going to cost him another $7500. The fellow on the kitty didn't want to try it. Dunno why?? My only problem was that I am used of riding a slightly modified 03 Escape and riding the 2012 was a whole new can of worms. Almost loggin a few times from pullin over to hard. Ended up stuck a few times from this, pooped myself out. Boondockin, as set up, gotta say thumbs up!! I feel bad, vid cam with tripod, helmet cam, goggle cam and we could only figure out a buddies goggle cam. Techno stuff blah blah blah. We got some footage with the goggle cam, will review tomorrow and see how it looks.

In general, at this point I feel that I have made the right choice in my turbo selection. as with most other things only time will tell. There was no tinkering, the sled did what i wanted it to when i wanted it to. There were a few spots it was idle and pin it to get out. Pull the chord and go all day. Just need to get used of riding this new sled before trying the higher boost or there will be few limbed trees on dem der hills.

I had a chance to spend a day on a 2013 pro with a HM 240 kit,k mod and 174x2.5. The sled ran flawless from the parking lot to the alpine,it never missed a beat. The snow was over the hood all day..
The only thing I adjusted was the k mod rear arm stop.
i would say the HM standalone runs smother then a stocker..
Very nice kit.

Yes it did. I noticed the first tree quivering when I went by. Vid guy too, but he had no place to run. My mistake was letting too much throttle off. Back shifts so fast and wants to throw you forward if you let too much off. Gonna have to get used of that. This is a way different ride than my 03 Escape, gonna take a few trips to get used of.

Saturday was out boondockin all afternoon in tight trees, no problems. Ran very well no matter what we needed to do. Jumps to attention when needed. Power kept me from gettin stuck a few times in the steep creeks and pickin my way up hills through the tight trees. Temp at 127 all day. Buddy on stocker stuck 3 times, me 0.

Finally managed to get some vid of a boondocking in some trees. Took over an hour to get across the valley in this type of riding. Not much powder but it was still fun and ran at about 135 in these snow conditions until we started climbing in the trees then down to 126. Dont know on the bigger hills, didn't look down. Posting to see what others think about the throttle response. I was happy with it. Stuck once as you will see.

I can concur with the HM Turbo standalone controller setup - very crisp - I have the PG kit with big injector set up - havent made it to the big power yet - but the pg is great - crisp, the fueling seems to be spot, no gurgles or sputtering - Just getting the rig setup for the new EBC closed loop programming - Levi says its crisper - I dont now how it could be but I can tell you everytime I ride it its hard to get the grin off my face.
