I just bought the new 509 helmet and sinister goggles. I love them but i sweat alot and the goggles fog up and it drives me crazy. Does this fan work as advertised or should i just buy another set of goggles as they are almost the same price.

The key with not fogging up is having a breath box that fits snug to your face without leaks.... as the other peeps said, the fan is useless

I bought the fan for my sinisters and they help slightly. Not worth the cash IMO.

The fan helps a little bit, but I don't think it is worth it. I stopped using my fan (as they don't fit great on the aviator) and just cycle through 3 goggles.

Like everyone mentioned they don't work well and 509 goggles fog up badly.
My least favorite thing about the fan is the noise. You cant just shut off your engine and listen for your buddies because the fan makes a high pitch whining
So you have to pull off goggles ...pita.

I totally agree with this statement. I chose not to get the breath box with my helmet and my 509s do fog up if im not moving or the wind isnt blowing. People i ride with all have breath boxes and they have no problem. I often find if i stop and they are fogging i turn my body a little bit so i get a cross wind across my face..........problem solved.

I just wear a klim f4 helmet with dragon vendettas. Problem solved. Never fog stopped or moving. Rarely take my helmet off. But 509 stuff does look cool I guess

IMO the fan does help a lot especially if yah have glasses. The 509 goggles are crap I have a pair and thy ice/fog up like crazy compared to my Scott's.

Not happy with my fan. smith goggles is what works best for me. Try spitting in your goggles like a scuba mask and let us know how that works;). kidding of coarse.

I have been using the haber vision goggle fan now for 3 seasons in a pair of spy's and I think it helps a lot. I just bought a 509 helmet and sinisters but I haven't tried them in the mountains yet. The goggle fan seems to work good around home but I'm not working nearly as much as in the hills. It definitely doesn't stop fogging but it helps. When they start to ice up, nothing helps. My buddy also had some kind of anti fog cream that was stupid expensive and it didn't help at all.

Cut a potato and rub it on the inside and outside of your goggles. Allow to dry then wipe off with soft cloth.
