Looking into a new gps and wondering what everyone is finding that works good. Want to be able to download the maps for riding areas as well use it for hunting. Let me know what works for you.

Thanks in advance

i'd suggest a garmin brand gps, due mainly to map and accesories availability. available at most large centers in ab. comunications group stores, gps city, gps central etc. the magellens and other brands work but don't have the same levels of support.

garmin rinos work well as long as someone in your group has another rino. otherwise they are a high priced unit. i was looking at the oregon 450? for $199 at gps city. and they also had backroad map cards at $119 for alberta and also for bc. my opinion only. there are all kinds of options and prices.

Delorme makes one and I think Garmin and some others have some kinda link that uses your smart phone in conjunction with satelites that will do the same thing
