Artic Cat Y pipe and can

I have to recommend all aftermarket Y pipes and muffler canisters over the stock junk, I believe the Gov required the use of Catalytic Convertors (made of Toxic Heavy Metals) and emissions Y pipes. I disagree with Government emissions that require use of Toxic Heavy metals in our sleds. The restrictive Y pipes used to cut emissions are measured at idle and slight throttle and that's all. I feel that increasing the mileage so that significantly less fule is burned then there are significantly less emissions. My M1000 uses 75% of the fuel of an M7 or M*. Best mileage of any "big bore" sleds I've ridden with.

Hp is increased nearly 10% when a proper Y pipe is installed showing the much better effiiency of the non-gov approved exhaust pipe.

Removing the muffler results in a weight savings of 17#. I don't think that those heavy metals should be in every offroad vehicle and sent out into our enviroment. Cats operate with extreme heat, Really really bad for a bike in the summer during fire season seems stupid to require this? Heavy metals sent out into our enviroment also seems anti green, doesn't it?

There's no catalytic convertor in a stock snowmobile exhaust.....any snowmobile exhaust actually!
