Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Things that are great-
Bright
Battery lasts
Can look at engine or suspension at night
Others know which sled you are as the headlight moves as your head moves. This is prolly the best safety feature as a nihht you don't know who is who.
Lights up the mountain where you are looking and it helps the other sledders.
Nothing is bad about this product. Unless a better product comes out, i will always own a Frankensled light. Flare kit alsi rocks.

Super happy with mine. Only downfall is in heavy snowfall it creates a whiteout condition. It's very handy as a flashlight as well and has been used as both a helmet light and flashlight on a few SAR call's. Far outperforms the climbing style headlamps.

When mine is working it is awesome.

But mine has had a loose connection, or corroded contact points as it intermittently goes dead. I never used it enough after purchasing to realize it was glitchy during the warranty period, just thought the battery died. I occasionally need to smack mine on something and then it starts to work again.

I'm still a lead dog kind of guy, for the reason it's incandescent and can warm up hands e.c.t, it's wired right into my sled battery live, so it's on all the time
