I had a ZR580 with a 136 1.5 lug and it worked good for al these but found the track was a little to small any help would be great looking at spendding no more the 5 grand.

I would look for a REV myself. Very good allround sled Ride,Performance and reliability. Look for a 6 or 800 with a 144 this will do you for sure. JMHO Check out the Classified section on here. Good Luck

I agree with Glen, check out the classifieds, the older Revs are dropping in price and have an excellent reputation. Older M7 Cats are another great choice.

Good luck in your $5000.00 hunts, there's lots out there.

well it will probaly be a cat or a rev as I am more a cat man then anything, but we will see what comes my way still have about 6 months and being this close to the mountains it makes sence to have a sled I am like 1 hour form powder kind and 30 mins form sliver sands/hassler area.

Based on location you obviously need a mountain sled. If you can get seat time on any sled, that's the bes tway to figure out what wil work best for you. Most of the sleds you can get in your price range are all good. Comes down to what's comfortable for you. I'm a Cat guy too, but no so brand loyal that it would keep me away from a sled that was a better fit for me. At 6'5" the Revs were out, really sore knees after a short time riding. Newer chassis might be better. On Polaris my knees would kit the recoil handle. I really like EFI so that puts the Cats up there. I really think seat time is paramount. Actually riding a sled will tell you alot.
