Who wants to go Riding Jan 27-29? thinking Valemount

I'm from edmonton and I'd like to go to vale this weekend. is anyone else going that i could possibly tag along with? pm me and i can give you my cell and we'll talk. Or if anyone wants to go anywhere else i'm game. Heck even Reve isnt too far

Never Been, is it pretty good there?

It's easier riding, Wife doesn't ride much, and goes painfully slow on trails and lakes. McBride is the only mountain area I'll take her too, until she feels more comfortable. Bell is the easy little hill, meadows are fun to play in, used to drop down the side of little bell through the trees years ago, tried again last year, trees got too big. Lucille I find steep, nice short trail in, but I'm not a high marker, so It's good for a half day, for riders like myself. Renshaw is the big play area. 32km trail in, when it's groomed it's nice, when its rough its 32km's of hell. Renshaw has areas for every level of skill.

But I still favor Bell. the meadows and the trees are a blast, when your first tracks in.

I've only ever riden McBride, Allen Creek, and Blue River. Best place is Blue, but I know McBride fairly well.

One other perk to McBride, all the hills are with in a 5 - 10 minute drive from town
