just got back from Hasler last nite, rode for 3 days. the cold temps sure made for some crusty snow conditions, had to search to find some softer snow in the shaded areas. it snowed every night and was snowing when we left, there should be 6 inches or better of fresh snow if it keeps up out there. we camped in the parking lot at km 45, had a great time. with the top layer frozen as it is, there will be snow on the trail from the parking lot for another 2 weeks or more. kicking myself for telling the wife it would be the last ride of the year, gonna have to do some begging to go again.....

BBtoys are you still able to ride from the parking lot at Renshaw or how far up the trail till the snow? Has the groomer been able to get out or has it been to warm now?

Yeah I read somewhere that grooming was over but was kinda dreaming that maybe a cold snap hit Mcbride and they were able to do some more grooming.

Yes, the groomer has shut down in McBride for the season. You can still ride from the parking lot at Renshaw but there a couple of messy spots until you get higher up. Been around zero the last few days and there has been some snow falling up top. Lots of areas here you can still ride.

Unload at km 3, just past the first bridge. Lots of snow up top and the trail is not to bad for spring riding conditions.
