Question about new recoil install

May or may not be the right place to start this thread but here goes ...
I need to install a brand new PLASTIC (grrrr) recoil into my summit. I can't tell if the factory has lubed this thig at all. Has anybody had any good / bad experiences with different types of lube? Lithium? Graphite or otherwise? I have some all purpose water repellent grease and was wondering if I should give it a go.

Any thoughts?

X2 there is plenty of factory lubrication on there. it wont work properly if you start adding other greases
