Does anybody in McBride or Valemount refill the canisters?
Or is there somebody along Hiway 16 from Whitecourt to Jasper that will refill these canisters.
I inspected mine and seen I only had about 2000psi. Canister sez it needs 2400-2700psi to operate properly.
Heading to the hills on Thursday and would like to refill it along the way if possible. I have checked with the firehall, welding shops and local paintball guy - but nobody wants to refill it???

I know your pain. Scuba shops dont always want to fill them either. It takes a different fitting, one you can purchase from BCA to fill from a scuba bottle. If you know anyone in the oil field that has access to a SCBA or SABA compressor thats your best bet.

Had the same experience last weekend. Try Yellowhead Helicopters , north of Valemount, although they were closed when I went there. All shops in town referred me to them.

Snowpulse referred me to Spindrift(glengine on S&M) in Mcbride for refilling. I see Spindrift also carries BCA equipment. Maybe call there or PM glengine to see.

I was in Valemount last weekend as no one there that I talked to seemed to have a clue where to fill the BCA or Snopulse. I wouold bet Spindrift in Mcbride probably does, or is at least able to let a guy know where to go. If you have a safety shop around you I would go check it out, Astec Safety Services in Lloydminster fills mine for 10 bucks(bca).

Wow, wouldnt you think that towns that cater to snowmobiling would or "should" have at least one refill station somewhere? I would say firehalls!
