In the videos he's either getting stuck, running into things, or standing around and giving Burandt lip .. which is fun to watch !! lol but the videos don't make me want to spend hundreds of dollars riding with him.

That being said, if I had an extra $4000 to spend on a sled trip.. i would sell my rev and buy an etec and immediately become a better sledder :D:beer:

well Burandt cant let him steal his show,,, its Burandts backcountry adventures lol,,, I bet Sahen can ride too and like mentioned his skills are probably similar in certain aspects but its the big stuff like X games that gets you a name.....

Three of us went down there last January and rode for three days with Chris, Sahen and Ryan. We liked it so much, six of us are going back this January. The old property in Kremmling was awesome and the new property in Buena Vista sounds even better. I would recommend going to anyone. They are all great guys to be around and are willing to teach you as much as you want to learn. If you do decide to go, hit the tread mill before because they're not happy untill you are laying in a sweaty heap crying uncle. First picture is one of my many stucks trying to keep up and second one is lunch time on the first day.

We went to Kremmling for a 4 day ride session with Chris. It was not exactly the greatest experience. The elevation is huge and takes about 50% of your ability away. We had seriously cold weather which sucked. If I was to go back, I would make sure I controlled the entire group of riders...aka...know everyone. Skinner is a hoot. I never laughed so much. He is a great teacher just like Chris.

so does one have to RIP to hang w these guys?
I have heard mixed reviews that you gotta be able to ride to go on this trip
heard a story once that Burandt once left a couple in his group for an hour with some better riders then cam back for the other two that couldnt keep up

dont get me wrong, Burandt is AWSOME, but maybe some who haven been can shed some light?

.

that could be accurate, but its for all levels big thing is that the group is at same level otherwise you sit in tree;s for an hour until they return....

would kinda suck after pay n big bucks, but I dont think I would recomend a newby to go unless ya got money to burn.

I rode every day with Chris until 2008 when I moved to BC. We had a lot of fun riding in the tightest trees we could find in CO. I came up to BC from CO to film a part for Slednecks in 2007 and was blwn away by the terrain. A year later I was living in BC. I have ridden with some of Chris and Sahen's groups and I will say that it helps if you know how to ride. It seems it would be best if you filled the group with your friends so that you don't get mixed with riders you don't know. You know how your friends ride....Have an awesome time! Chris

Ok guys. Finally got internet. Two days in. Head is spinning from all the stuff we are taking in. Way to slow to load up pics but I will do that when I get back and put up a full write up on the trip.

Best summary that I can come up with. "Bucket list". Chris, Sahen and Ryan are fantastic. Even with the low snow load right now - we are having a great time. Never been a tree rider but I am now a convert.

Cheers,

Greg
