Hey there sledless one. Rode a Freestyle last year. Only a 300 though and it was a bit of a dog. Rode OK, turned well, couldn't get out of it's own way. Some ingenius types at Kelowna put an 800 in one last year. Uh huh. Will the 550 be a decent sled? I suspect so, the 550 makes about 60 ponies, Freestyle is light. Don't take it in the deep snow.
Hey TylerG, I have not ridden one either but I guess the biggest pearl of wisdom I could offer would be to choose a sled that is best suited for the majority of riding you do. Don't sacrafice enjoyment for the almighty buck. cause you will likely regret buying a machine that doesn't give you what you want. As for financing, you may want to talk with your bank etc as an option to financing through a dealer etc (they are banks too!). Good-luck and hope it all works out for ya!!
