Sled Pics Golden, Revy, and Sicamous!

I had a great trip, lots of fresh, untouched powder. I rode Quartz Creek, Owlshead, Queest, Blue Lake, Boulder. Great photos! Can't wait to get up to Revy on Feb. 6th with our group from Brooks.

We had 4 poor visibility days and 4 clear, I didn't take many pics on the foggy, snowy and windy days. I liked Owlshead by far the best, but I never had a chance to ride eagles pass, I heard it's pretty awesome.

Hey Summitron: Did You Mean Eaglesnest Or "eagle's Pass"??? Eagle's Pass Is Expansive..... Bowl After Bowl, And Very Exclusive(no One Seems To Know Where It Is). Apparently It Is Possible To Sled From Eagles Pass To Boulder(in Revelstoke)..... That Would Be An Awesome Trip....... Glad To Hear You Had Such A Good Trip And Great Snow. We've Been Through The Sicamous Area Pretty Extensively(thanks To Good Friends Very Familiar With The Area) And Owlshead Is My Favourite Too.... Did You Make It Back To Hunter Range, Or To The Upper Cabin, Or Lookout Tower??

Yah, I meant eagle's pass, I think the locals scare a lot of out of town riders away from there, they all say it's for advanced riders and very hard to get into. I just like the fact Owlshead staging area is right in town. We did make it right through Owlshead over into huntersrange, we pretty much hit all the areas in Owlshead on the first day when it was clear. The lookout tower was apparently buried under snow, a local said we were parked on top of it.
I really enjoyed Owlshead, the terrain is so varied and so many huge play areas and because even in terrible white out conditions we were able to find great riding that was protected from the wind. On the second day (ice fog)we crossed skinny ridge and dropped down into Morton lake and played all day in over 3 feet of pow, we came out at 4, it was pitch black, the next morning we tried to make it back and there were 8-10 foot drifts across skinny ridge and near white out conditions, so we rode off to the left of the main cabin in echo, and we had a blast popin in and out of the trees . Great snow, almost too deep for my buddies 144, we rode with a Yammy turbo 162 and he was getting stuck blasting around in the trees, I think visiblitly played a big part it was hard to get any depth perception.

Sure Sounds Like You Had A Great Time..... Did You Make It To Takakaw Lake(it's Kinda Hidden Behind The Upper Cabin A Ways)?? Great Play Area, And Known By Very Few.... Always Great Pow To Shred There. Also Can't See The Lookout Tower Being Buried..... I Thinks Its Gotta Be 50ft Tall??.......:d

If it would have been even slightly better visibility, I would have taken many more pictures, I left the camera in my pocket for three or four days. I'm going to make a little box for inside my side panel to heat up goggles, have a spare pair always on the heater, We were wiping our goggles every five or ten minutes on some days and on the ice fog days every 30 seconds had to give them a scratch. Still a blast....wish I lived a tiny bit closer.
